Those traveling Interstate 77 in Guernsey County will see delays and lane restrictions starting next week.
Beginning Monday March 9, The Ohio Department of Transportation said they’ll begin removing trees on the west side of the roadway.
Once clearing is complete lanes will be restricted for loose rock removal.
ODOT said the southbound driving lane will be closed the day of tree removal. The lane will be closed around the clock for a total of 35 days, with barrier wall, for the rock removal.
The road will be restricted at two different locations a few miles north of US 22 and a few miles north of State Route 541 interchange.
