Voting for Tuesday’s primary election opens at 6:30 a.m.
Muskingum County voters have several issues to decide on. The Center for Seniors has a bond issue on the ballot, voters in the Village of Philo can decide on a levy for current expenses, the Village of Dresden has a natural gas aggregation issue and in Jackson township, there is an issue for cemetery operation costs.
Director of the county board of elections, Chris Hamill, said many people decided to cast their ballots at the board’s office Monday. Early voting ended at 2:00 p.m. On Tuesday, only people needing to change their address can vote at the board’s office.
“Anybody who wants to change their address may come to our office, change their address and vote all at the same time,” Hamill said. “We’ll be open from 6:30 to 7:30.”
All polls close at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, and as soon as the results are in from all of our coverage area, we will have them right here on WHIZnews.com, on our three radio stations and live on the 11:00 p.m. newscast.
