The Zane Trace Players presented ‘On Golden Pond’ one more time this weekend.
The production follows a family as they deal with aging, divorce, re-marriage and the ebb and flow of a father daughter relationship. Director of the play Stacy Clawson said that the audience will connect with the characters’ experiences.
"So there was conflict with her and her dad and I think people could relate to that and she re-marries which a lot of people do so dealing with that and bringing a new boyfriend to the family, there’s just all kinds of aspects that people could relate to," said Clawson.
The cast and crew prepared for the stage show for eight weeks and clawson said they all felt strongly about putting on this play in particular.
"So there’s a lot of really cool connections," said Clawson. "It was on somebody’s bucket list or there something special about the play that drew us all together."
