The Fourth of July is one of America’s favorite holidays. It’s also one of the most popular times to celebrate with family and friends and drink and drive. The Ohio Highway Patrol says its troopers will be out in full force cracking down on impaired drivers. It’s called “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”. The effort started Thursday and will continue until Sunday. Last Fourth of July the Patrol made 749 drunken driving arrests during the holiday. During that time, 11 fatal crashes resulted in 12 deaths. Four of those crashes were connected to impaired driving.
