It’s officially the holiday season, meaning it’s time to gets your bids ready for the “12 Days of Christmas” raffle.
Zanesville’s Daybreak and Noon Rotary Club’s largest fundraiser of the year is currently underway. This year, both clubs will be raffling off $22,000 worth in prizes. Co-chair, Ken Johnson, said all money raised from the event will benefit community programs funded by Rotary.
“What our club does with most of the money, is we gravitate it towards children’s projects, we have the Phoenix Awards, we have a luncheon in May, where we recognize a senior graduating from each of the Muskingum County high schools,” Johnson said.
The 12 days of drawings will begin on December 7. On the first day, the club will draw 13 winners, and those winners will each receive a $50 giftcard to ‘The Barn.’ Johnson said other prizes include Adornettos giftcards, Columbus Blue Jackets tickets, and whole Honey-baked hams.
“The next day we’ll continue to draw, but we’ll draw 12 tickets, and on down the line, until the last day when someone will win $1,500 in cash, and a 2016 membership to Vista Golf Course,” Johnson said.
You can purchase three raffle tickets for $10 from any Zanesville Rotarian. Tickets will also be available at Adnornettos, Thorne Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, and Barnes Advertising.
