A local family business shared the opening of their new facility with the community Thursday.

Brown’s Body Shop is officially working in its brand new 19,000 sq. ft. work-space equipped with two 31 ft drive-thru heating down draft paint booths and four car liner frame machines. Owner Dusty Brown said that this business is truly a family affair.

“My wife works the office,” said Brown. “[My] daughter works the office as well. [My] Son-in-law works in reassembly. [My]Brother-in-law works in parts, and and then my son works in ‘tear-down.’ ”

It’s been that way since the beginning. Brown’s father, Don, was the original owner of the body shop and Brown said he upgraded the facility in hopes that his children will keep the tradition of quality in the community for a third generation and he knows that his father, who started it all, would be proud.

“Yeah he’d be very very excited,” said Brown. “He’d think I was nuts but he’d be very happy. ”

The new facility is located on Adamsville Rd. just east of Zanesville.
