The Cambridge Fire Department spent the early morning of Thanksgiving battling a house fire.
The fire broke out at 800 North Fifth Street in Cambridge just after 2:30am.
Firefighters said the story and a half structure will likely be ruled a total loss due to smoke damage throughout the home.
They believe at this time the fire began in the living room area, but the cause is still under investigation.
Authorities said that the home’s owner was not there at the time of the fire and no injures were reported.
Fire crews were on the scene for nearly three hours.
