One local high school is in the holiday spirit as their building fills with hundreds of shoppers.
Bishop Rosecrans high school hosted their annual holiday bazaar this morning. This event began at 9 a.m and had over 100 vendors from five different states including Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Florida and West Virginia. Event Coordinator, Brook Carpenter told us the main focus of this event is to give back to the community.
“Number one, community. Rosecrans high school believes in giving back to our community. Secondary, we love to give our hand-crafted vendors an opportunity to sell their craft and make a little money for the holidays. We’re very blessed to have the community that we do, to be able to support this event every year,” said Carpenter.
Carperter told us each year they see over 1000 people and they hope to grow in the future. The holiday bazaar got it’s start in the 1980’s and since it began it has taken place each year on the first Saturday of December.
