Last Minute Christmas Shoppers at Colony Square Mall

It’s down to the wire with Christmas being only two days away, and a lot of folks are rushing to the store to pick up last-minute gifts.

The Colony Square mall in Zanesville opened Wednesday at 8 a.m, and shoppers didn’t waste any time getting in to locate all of the final items on their to get list. We got the thoughts of some shoppers and found that most of them were there for the same purpose.

“Small little last minute gifts,” Kimberly Edgerly.

“Just a few gifts, some last minute gifts,” Sue Ranson.

“last minute shopping,” said Heather Williams.

“I try to get it done usually a little earlier, but we were traveling and I didn’t get it all done,” said Hank Prejean.

Most shoppers say they had no problem finding the things that they needed.

“Laughing* well, she can’t say. It’s a secret, only Santa knows,” said Edgerley.

“Actually I was yep,” said Ranson.

“Oh yea, I found exactly what I wanted. My daughter had given me an idea of some things that she wanted, so I got one of those,” said Prejean.

In case you are still needing to get a few last minute gifts, the Colony Square mall will be open from 8 a-m until 6 p-m on Christmas Eve but will be closed Christmas Day.
