ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Frigid temperatures, gusty winds, let’s not forget to add in the wind chill temperatures feel like it’s below zero degrees. Winter has officially made an appearance in 2016.

But just because it’s cold and unpleasant outside the show must go on. Unlike the school district these workers still have to report to work even in inclement weather.

“It’s not pleasant to say the least, I guess it’s better when the sun’s out. Layer up and just try to deal with it and stay warm,” said Collin Shapness.

Experts says when working outside for long periods of time during these cold conditions to give yourself a break from the cold temperatures. Let your body warm up before heading back outside.

“You don’t want to get any of those cold weather injuries. You can’t push yourself to the limit. It’s not worth it. You just have to deal with it. That’s the trade of construction work, it just how it is. Soon as I win the Powerball I’m moving south,” said Sharpness.

Speaking of the Powerball you may want to try your luck Wednesday night’s drawing is the largest in US history.
