ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â Goodwill Industries is doing good things in our community.
CEO Lou Cvetnick told Zanesville Rotarians Tuesday about the role the organization plays.
“Tell them a little bite about goodwill industries and what we do. Where we do it. Why we do it. And how we provide our services,” said Cvetnick.
Cvetnic said the most important service goodwill provides to the community is training. He said goodwill hires people other companies tend to look over.
“Working with those individuals to help them be sustainable and able to take care of themselves. We are a very large training organization. We are funded by ourselves. Primarily though our retail operation. That funding takes care of our training,” said Cvetnick.
Cvetnic said he services 20 counties 5 of which are new. He said 10 counties are in Ohio and 10 counties in West Virginia. Cvetnick said he will be developing the new 5 counties over the next 3 to 5 years providing retail, workforce development, recycling, and other training programs.
