NEW LEXINGTON, OHIO- Kicking off the “K-9 Party in the Park” will be a 5-K Walk/Run in the New Lexington Park. Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m. and the event starts afterwards at 9 a.m. Registration is $25.

Sergeant William Dodd, K-9 Handler, New Lexington Police Department, said that the event will feature a lot of entertainment including dog demonstration, car cruise-ins, music, food, games for the kids, police vehicles, helicopters, and booths with information on the multiple health services offered within the community.

“Hopefully we will make it a great day filled full of fun activities while being informative and educational,” Dodd said.
