ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The dealing for Muskingum County resident to pay their property tax is coming up.
The due date is June 24. County Treasurer Chris Hamill says that those who still need to pay their real estate tax have a variety of options to do so.
“If you are mailing your taxes they must be postmarked by the due date to avoid penalty. And if you cannot make it into our office, you can go to any Community Bank in Muskingum County and pay by the due date. If you are going to pay at Community Bank make sure you have your tax bill with you,” said Hamill.
In addition to that you can pay in person at the courthouse as well, and for the first time ever, you can pay your taxes online with a credit card, debit card, or electronic check.
