ZANESVILLE, Ohio- After talking with the designer of the project and discussing the outside support that would be needed, Mayor Jeff Tilton said that they will push the kidsville project back until the spring of 2017 in order to have the suitable and accountable workforce for the reconstruction.
“We are looking to find people of the community who will come forward and help lead different aspects of the project,” said Mayor Jeff Tilton.
“We want people that want to help take care of the volunteers, help get food for the volunteers, help organize the workforce and get equipment, and many other aspects of the project.”
Mayor Tilton said that he’s looking for people who want to help out now so that they can organize monthly meeting in the winter in order to be confident in getting the project done in the spring.
If you are interested in volunteering, you can contact the Mayor at his office, or contact Jay Bennett, Public Service Director of Zanesville.
