CHICAGO (AP) — A private auction firm plans to put up for bid memorabilia that once belonged to Chicago White Sox great Minnie Minoso.

Hunt Auctions plan on Sept. 17 to auction off an American League Championship ring, two Gold Glove awards that belonged to Minoso and his Mexican Baseball Hall of Fame ring at Chicago’s U.S. Cellular Field.

The auction will also include other White Sox memorabilia such as a game jersey worn by former White Sox player Paul Konerko and a base and home plate from a 2007 no-hitter thrown by Mark Buehrle.

Hunt Auctions says part of the proceeds will go to Chicago White Sox Charities.

Minoso died in 2015 after a long career spent primarily with the White Sox. He also played in his native Cuba and in the Negro Leagues.
