Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center Celebrates Educators

Musk Valley ESCZANESVILLE, Ohio– Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center held the 2016 MVESC Administrators Opening Day Celebration at Zanesville high school Monday morning.

This celebration is to honor aspiring administrators, exemplary educators, as well as welcome new administrators and give recognition and service awards.

“This event is a great way to start the 16-17 school year, MVESC Assistant Superintendent Diane Jones said. “Because of the heart of what we do is recognizing outstanding teachers, who work everyday with students in classrooms. So it’s a great, great event.”

MVHC honored 17 educators from school districts in Coshocton, Morgan, Muskingum, and Perry counties. East Muskingum local school Educator Melanie Campbell is one of the 17 exemplary educators to be honored at Monday’s celebration.

“It just feels really good to be appreciated for all the stuff the we do as educators with our students and our schools buildings each day, Campbell said. “It’s just nice of the administration here at Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center and also within our school districts to recognize us for our hard work.”

The educators’ nominations came from their home districts. MVESC also honored four administrators with the James W Mahoney aspiring administrator scholarship.
