NEW CONCORD, Ohio – They need some help, and maybe a bit of luck, but the John Glenn basketball team is not out of the race for the MVL title as we approach the regular season’s last day.

At 12-3 in league play they still trail Tri-Valley by a game in the standings. With a win Tuesday over Crooksville the Scotties wrapped up at least a share of their 16th MVL title in school history. Should they take down Maysville on Friday, then the outright title with go to Tri-Valley.

John Glenn is hoping the Panthers will be able to pull the upset. If that happens and they beat Morgan on Friday then the Scotties and the Little Muskies would split the MVL title. The last time Morgan and John Glenn played in January, the Raiders got a one-point win.

The game will be broadcasted live on Z92 and stream online at whiznews.com.
