Zanesville, Ohio – The Muskingum County Commissioners were given the bids for a screen system.

The Muskingum County Engineers office applied for a Screening System through the E.P.A. According to Administrative Deputy Matt Russell, the screen system is used to separate stones, cement, and other materials from older roadway projects so they can be used for newer roadway projects.

“The Commissioners take the bids under advisement today and then [The Muskingum County Engineer’s Office] will look at the bids in detail and we will give [the commissioners] a recommendation for a bid award,” Russell said. “Hopefully next week I would say.”

The Engineer’s Office received four bids. The first was Agcore Technologies costing $192,948.00, Ohio Cat Equipment Dealer costing $178,790.91, and Promac Incorporated provided two bids the first costs $150,525.00 and the second cost 186,500.00.
