ZANESVILLE, OHIO- ONE LOCAL SCHOOL WAS SINGING IN THE RAIN TODAY

BISHOP ROSECRANS HIGH SCHOOL HOSTED ANNIE JR. IN FRONT OF A SOLD OUT CROWD THIS EVENING. DIRECTOR OF THE PLAY, LYENNE ELLUL, SAID THAT THE PLAY FOCUSES ON AN ORPHAN NAMED ANNIE WHO EMBARKS ON A JOURNEY TO FIND HER PARENTS.

“ITS ABOUT AN ORPHAN WHO LIVES ON A ORPHANAGE AND IS SEARCHING FOR HER PARENTS AND SHE HAS AN ADVENTURE SEARCHING FOR HER PARENTS AND MR. WARBUCKS HE HAS HER COME LIVE WITH HER AND HE DECIDES TO ADOPT HER.”

THE CAST CONSISTED OF CHILDREN FROM 5TH TO 8TH GRADE…WHILE  MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WORKED BACK STAGE AND ELLUL SAYS IT WAS WONDERFUL WORKING WITH THEM.

“THESE KIDS ARE GREAT KIDS. THEY HAVE BEEN SO ENTHUSIASTIC ITS JUST BEEN A GREAT TIME WITH THESE KIDS IM SO EXCITED FOR THEM. ”

THE SCHOOL IS THANKFUL FOR THE SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY HAS SHOWN FOR ANNIE JR.
