MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- If you’ve been thinking about expanding your family by four legs then you’ll want to listen up. The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center may have just the perfect addition to your family.

Meet this week’s Dog of the Week that’s ready to go home with you.

“This is Bonnie. Bonnie is a very sweet, middle aged Rott-mix here at the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center,” says Julie Bay the Volunteer Coordinator at the adoption center. “She was released by her owner. They just were no longer able to keep her.”

Bonnie is fully vaccinated and has already been spayed. She is friendly and is able to be in a home with children and other pets. However, if you’re interested in Bonnie, you should schedule a meet-and-greet with Bonnie and your other pets just to be sure they get along.

Bonnie has been at the adoption center since July and is ready to go to her furever home.

“In order to take Bonnie home, and again she’s ready to go because she’s already been spayed and she’s fully vaccinated. So this girl is nice and healthy and ready to go into her loving home. It’s $105, okay, that pays for her spaying fee and all of her vaccinations; to reimburse for that. And her dog license will come with her and will be good for the remainder of the year.”

If you are interested in adding Bonnie to your family, you can contact the adoption center at 740-453-0273. You can also contact the center for volunteer opportunities or to foster a dog.
