ZANESVILLE, Ohio- North Terrace Church of Christ has a scavenger hunt for people to see different parts of Muskingum County on Sunday, September 17th.
Teams can sign up the day of the event from 8 A.M. until 1 P.M. Teams will then travel throughout Muskingum County on a Scavenger Hunt for the potential to win prizes. Communications Director Katie Norris said this scavenger hunt provides an opportunity for people to see things in their community that they might not even know are right around the corner.
“One of the things we really wanted to do was to do an event that would really help the community gather around our area and love it,” said Norris. “And see all the cool things that are in Zanesville and Muskingum County. We decided to kind of devise a scavenger hunt that would take them to all these different and interesting places that they might not even realize exist.”
The scavenger hunt clues will send you to different locations such as Tom’s Ice Cream or Zanesville Museum of Art. Points will be given for finding the place as well as bonus points for doing challenges at each spot. At 9 P.M. the team with the most points will win a grand prize.
“We’re not releasing all of the details of the grand prize,” said Norris. “There will be a grand prize for the people who collect the most points. It might include tickets to The Wilds, massages at local places, or golf tickets. There is definitely going to be a lot of things from different local businesses because we want that community local experience.”
Norris tip for everyone signing up for the scavenger hunt is to follow North Terrace Instagram. The church will provide tips and bonus point opportunities throughout the day via the app.
