ZANESVILLE, Ohio- This weekend people will be able to go outside and walk for a worthy cause.

This will be the seventh annual ‘Walk with a Twist.’ The walk coordinator Jim Fraunfelter said all the money raised from the walk will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The walk is done in honor of Jim’s Brother, Dan, who died from cancer.

“We got St. Jude’s about seven years ago and (we were) looking for something to remember Dan by. And he loved kids. This legacy will live as long as I can continue doing it and with the communities support,” said Jim.

Jim said ‘Walk with a Twist’ has raised almost $30,000. He said it’s important to him to help out the community while honoring his brother at the same time.

“We’ve bought wheelchairs for the boys and girls in the hospital. We’ve arranged flights for families from California to Memphis in our time frame. And we’re just looking to do whatever we can,” said Jim.

The walk will start at Fair Oaks Baptist Church on Woodlawn Avenue at 10 a.m. on Saturday. You can donate in Dan’s honor at www.stjude.org.
