ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Foodworks Alliance will be hosting an event discussing the online marketplace, social media, and time-saving resources.
The event is called Understanding Amazon, E-commerce, and More. Small businesses can attend this event to learn more about how they can grow sales with Amazon, and why Amazon is not enough. Britni Ross, the speaker for the event, is an E-commerce Solution Provider, Amazon Expert, Teacher, and Coach, and will help businesses navigate the ever-changing online landscape.
“She understands how to do it, she wants to share it with the other companies here in town. And so we’re hoping that we can have small businesses come out and understand they’ve got to be on the internet for their sales,” said Interim Director for Foodworks Alliance, Carol Humphreys.
Humphreys said the goal is to advise businesses they need to be present and reachable online. Aside from a guest speaker, Foodworks Alliance will also feature Foodworks Alliance clients with their products set up at tables. Participants at the event will be able to see the products being made at Foodworks Alliance, taste the products, and potentially order them.
“It’s really important that they also have an opportunity to meet and be together, and be able to build each other up,” said Humphreys.
The event is on Wednesday, March 20th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Foodworks Alliance facility. You can register online for a cost of $35. The proceeds from this event will help support and grow the programs at Foodworks Alliance.
