NEWARK, Ohio – The Community Bank is celebrating the grand opening of their Licking County Banking Office.

The Community Bank president and CEO, Eric Holsky, cut the ribbon to celebrate the opening of the bank. The bank is on 835 North 21st street in Newark, which marks Community Bank’s 11th location. It is their first banking office to be located in Licking County. Holsky says opening a bank in the County will be great for the community and great for the organization’s growth.

“We’re really excited to be opening our first full service branch in Licking County. We’ve had a loan production office in Heath for about six years. Based on the success that Jim Holman and his team has had there we decided to make the investment to actually have a full service branch in Newark now,” Holsky said.

The bank features a drive up 24-7 ATM, and drive thru facility. Holsky says they have plans to make the bank even more convenient for Licking County citizens.

Holsky also said “We have the drive-thru, we have a brand new ATM obviously here for 24 hours a day. We also have an ATM at our Heath location for our customers to use, and we’re going to be announcing another ATM presence here in a few weeks in another part of town.

Though the VIP celebration was this evening, the Community Bank does not officially open its doors until Friday, March 15th.
