A live nativity scene was put on Friday by the Zanesville Bible Methodist Church.
Hundreds of people braved the cold weather and came out to the Church on Grove Road Friday.
Spectators can see live animals, including donkeys, llamas and sheep, live Christmas carols and refreshments.
Beth Blair is the wife of pastor Bill Blair, and says planning the church's live nativity is a year round process, and believes it a great way to give back to the community.
"This is our fourth year to have it, and each year we kind of add something new, get a few more animals, and just really enjoy doing this for our community," said Blair
Mark Toth has been participating all four years of the church's live nativity.
He says that children seem to have the most fun around the animals.
"They love petting the animals, the animals let them pet them all the time, and I think the animals and the kids get along real well," said Toth
If you missed tonight's event, it will take place again Saturday, Dec 17, from 7:00PM - 9:00PM
