Fifth graders in the destination imagination program at McIntyre Elementary, now hold the winning crown. The students compete in creative problem solving competitions. And after receiving what they thought was a second place finish at state competition, the team advisor received a phone call. For the competition, the team had to re-create the life of an artist that created an anonymous work of art. The team will try for another win at world’s which will be held at the University of Tenn. May 23rd through the 26th. The trip to worlds costs around 4 thousand dollars. If you would like to donate call 453-2851.
