The Post Office is joining with the United Way and Operation Feed to "Stamp Out Hunger." Your local letter carrier will be collecting non-perishable food on Saturday May 12 to help the families in need in our community. Besides the Zanesville area, both Nashport and Crooksville will be participating. The Operation Feed Campaign is lagging in donations, so the letter carriers are trying to pick-up as much food as possible. For anyone who will be out of town on Saturday, there is also a drop off bin already in place at the Zanes St. Post Office. The local food pantries served up over a half a million meals last year, and they want to keep that service going.
