Muskingum County Commissioner, Dorothy Montgomery is home from the hospital and resting. Montgomery was released from Good Samaritan Hospital last Wednesday. She was admitted to the hospital after suffering a mild heart attack. Fellow commissioners do not know when she will return to work, but say she is keeping tabs on everything. “This is kind of a day by day thing see how she feels allow her to rest, she’ll probably come back before she should knowing Dorothy, she’ll be anxious to get back, I know she’s already been requesting things to read and things of that nature to keep tabs on what’s going on, She’s not completely out of the loop here, she wants to be kept up on everything that’s going on in the office.” Said Don Madden, Muskingum County Commissioner. Last Monday, Montgomery underwent a heart catherization and also had a stint put in. She has not had any procedures since then. Madden said she is very thankful for all the flowers, cards and letters she has received.
