It was a hub of activity at the gas pumps in Zanesville today. Price is the lowest it’s been in a long time – a $1.59 for Regular at most stations – that’s a plunge of more than twenty cents. And many people stopped to take advantage and fill up. But you better act fast because gas station owners don’t think the lower prices will be around through the Memorial Day weekend. Although the prices have gone down for the time being, consumers feel the cost for fuel is still too high. When asked what a fair price might be, most answered around $1.30.
