Muskingum Tech is working with area high schools to get more tech prep students from the Appalachia area to college. Tech Prep is an educational track where students can learn computers, electronics and all areas of technology. The goal of Muskingum Tech is to get students to do a two-year program at their high school and then continue that program at a college to get an Associate’s Degree. Professors feel the Associate’s degree is necessary for today’s world. Close to 40 teachers from local high schools and Muskingum Tech met to discuss how they could better prepare students.
