Despite a shaky start to summer’s high gasoline prices, AAA expects to see an increase of motorists on the highways during the 4th of July Holiday. AAA says because gas prices have fallen recently, more people are traveling. Reports show Ohio prices have fallen more than the national average and travelers passing through Zanesville agree. Laura Yanick of Washington said it’s about 30 cents cheaper and Pat Cornwell from Illinois said it’s about 50 cents cheaper here. Gas prices normally increase during holiday seasons, but because they’re currently falling AAA says it’s difficult to predict whether or not they will rise.
