Twenty-one years of neighborly service will end when Rick Linkhorn, owner of the BP station at 93 & 22 will close his doors tomorrow for the last time. Linkhorn wouldn’t comment on the specific of his closing, he just said that it was time and it will be hard to say good-bye to his customers. Not only has the station serviced many cars over the years, but Linkhorn has also donated money to local homecomings, church groups and sponsored little league teams. Linkhorn said his immediate plans are to play with his kids for the rest of summer. As for the future, he said they might be back in the area, but in a different form.
