Everyday 55 hospitals in the Central Ohio Region receive shipments of blood from local American Red Cross Chapters. But that order is getting extremely difficult to fill as the Red Cross is experiencing critical levels of blood shortage. As always, they’re in need of all types of blood, but especially O positive and O negative. The Red Cross is having three blood drives this week to help with the shortage. Two of them are on Tuesday at Zane Landing and the Care Center in West Lafayette. The other is on Friday at the Cracker Barrel in Zanesville. Everyone who donates this week, gets a free t-shirt.
