Some tense moments on Monday at a local construction company. An unidentified “All American Homes” male worker was transported to Good Samaritan hospital after a work related accident. The employee was working on one the company’s pre-fabricated homes, at their plant near the I-70 Airport Exit, when the roof collapsed. According to Chief Bruce Sindledecker of the Perry Township Fire Department, the roof had him pinned down and co-workers had him free before the EMS and fire crews arrived. He said the man was in stable condition, but was in a lot of agony and pain. All-American Homes declined to comment on the cause of the accident.
