Tax rebate checks are on their way and many U.S. citizens are anxiously awaiting their money. Next week the IRS will be sending letters to everyone concerning the advance payment information. The letter will tell people if they’re getting a rebate, the amount of the rebate and when they will receive it. People can expect to receive their checks anywhere between the months of July and September. The rebate amount is based on 5% of your taxable income up to a certain amount. A single person with a taxable income of $6,000 last year, will get the maximum rebate of $300. A married couple with a taxable income of $12,000 will get the maximum rebate of $600. The IRS wants to remind everyone who has moved, to be sure the post office has your new address so your rebate check can be delivered.
