Muskingum Area Technical College is about to bridge the digital divide. They will be taking the step using more than 1.7 million dollars in grants. The five year allowance gives MATC around 350 thousand dollars a year towards improving the campus technology. Students will be able to access information through the web. They can look up grade information and enroll for classes on-line. The funds also allow for improvements in classroom technology. The highly competitive grant money comes from the US Department of Education.
