The taste of Zanesville event has more to offer than just a sampling of food. Thirty-eight stores will be participating in Wednesday night’s affair, which is designed to give visitors and local citizens a flavor of all the things downtown Zanesville has to offer. Activities include free trolley rides, sponsored by South-east Area Transit; child fingerprinting with the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department; and an art exhibition sponsored by ZAAP. And of course there will be food. The Old Market House Inn will have appetizers, Fioriware will have Maddy’s Homemade ice-cream and the Sweet Station will be handing out samples of Bloomer Candy. The Welcome Center has maps with all activities and locations. The event will be from 5:30 to 8:30, rain or shine.
