A multi-car pile-up on Interstate 70 Wednesday afternoon sent a bunch of people to the hospital and a lot of cars to the auto shop. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said that 10 people were transported to Genesis Hospital, but no one was seriously hurt. A heavy downpour caused the chain reaction: 5 separate crashes in all, involving a total of 15 cars. The accidents happened with-in seconds of each other. They were concentrated in the westbound lane near the Hamline Bridge. In all crashes, at fault drivers were cited with assured clear distance.
