The boyhood home of an American hero just moved back to Main Street USA. After 2 ½ years of planning the move, John Glenn’s childhood home was laid on foundation today on Main Street in his hometown of New Concord. The house was originally on Main Street but was later moved to Route 83. Organizers hope to have outside renovations, which will include a porch on the front and sides of the home done by October 15. As for inside renovations, organizers are looking for donations to the museum. They hope to have the entire project completed by April6, which is John and Annie Glenn’s wedding anniversary.
