Natural Gas Prices Drop

Good news for Southeastern Ohio consumers. Natural gas prices are taking a sharp drive after reaching record high levels last winter. And Columbia Gas Of Ohio officials say the savings could extend into the winter. Columbia Gas says the price customers pay will fall by more than 30 percent beginning this month. The cut will prices into line with those of last summer, between 50 and 60 cents per hundred cubic feet. The company estimates the average montly residential bill will fall by around 27 dollars from August through October, down 19 dollars from the past three months.
