The project to update the New Life Temple pump station has experienced a minor set back. Bids were taken earlier this month by the Muskingum County Commissioners’ office in order to revamp the pump station. The updates will allow the station to handle sewage flows from the newly constructed Maysville Schools. But due to an error in one of the proposals, the county had to reopen the bid to the public. Pickrell stated that even though the project has been put on hold by redoing the bidding process…they still have enough time to complete the necessary updates before the schools open in January of next year.
