County Water
Muskingum County’s plan to implement a county-wide water system needs homewoner support to move along. The engineering plans are completed and residents need to return an application agreement for the projects to continue. This applies to those affected by the Gaysport section. The agreement involves a connection charge or tap fee that needs okayed now, but not payable until October. The 5 hundred dollar charge and other points will be discussed tomorrow for the Adamsville section. The county wants to start construction on the Gaysport section before the end of the year, and the Adamsville road section will begin in the Spring. Then the Chandlersville section will get underway by the end of next summer.
