Contract negotiations between the MIBA Company and it’s workers in McConnelsville have ended. After a week at the picket line, members of local 986 of the International Association of Machinists approved a new contract by a vote of 150 to 57 Sunday morning. The new contract includes a better pension plan for workers, the pension was one major grievance that caused the strike. MIBA Bearings is the world’s largest manufacturer of heavy ball bearings for large diesel engines.
