After President bush addressed the nation last night, Americans everywhere now have a clearer picture as to what is being done to fight back against the terrorist networks. The President asserted that the U.S. has the terrorists “on the run” and that our future plans are to eventually revamp the Afganistan Government. Local residents who watched the address continue to stand behind the President. Larry Liddle of Zanesville, thought the President’s speech was fantastic and that it was just the right thing for the country right now. However despite the support the President is receiving and regardless of how much security has been increased, many residents still feel unsure about other possible terrorist strikes in our country. Many are afraid and believe that more attacks could occur, and they think that every precautionary measure should be taken. Julie Bay, Director of Wellness at The Fieldhouse says that the thought of another terrorist hit terrifies her and just the thought of that and having a five year as well as a child on the way, it makes her wonder what the future holds for them. She thinks that the scariest part is that no one knows where or when they will strike again. As a unified country it is every citizens job to be alert and aware of any kind of suspicious behavior. The President urges all Americans to report anything suspicious to law enforcement authorities.
