The economy has become soft this year due to the events that took place in September. Small businesses in particular have suffered the most from the recent economic slump, so to help out those small business owners The Chamber of Commerce has designed programs to alleviate some of the problems. They have everything from financing programs to information concerning loans in their business resource center. The Chamber in coordination with Evans & Associates, and the Muskingum Valley Human Resource Management Association will also be holding a workshop entitled “Building A Better Business On The Foundations Of Human Resource Management.” The workshop will be available to anyone who is trying to manage, run or owns a business. The focus will be on human resource topics and the public is welcome to attend. The Workshop is set for November 7th from 8:30 to 11:30am at Bryan Place. Admission is $10 per Chamber member and $20 for non-members.
