Robbery Arrest

The crack down on crime continues as the Muskingum County Sheriff’s office arrest another area resident for robbery. With the help of the Zanesville Police Department, the eighth person in two days, was arrested in connection with the recent robberies in the county. 25-year-old Ralph D. Fink II of Nashport, is being held in the Muskingum County Jail for six armed robberies. Descriptions of the vehicle, used in the robberies, from eyewitnesses led to his arrest. Once apprehended, Fink confessed to robbing the Star Fire Pine Station, the Certified Gas Station, Mac-N-Turfs, Putnam Beer Dock, Subway and the Dillion Falls Store in a one-month period. Fink is being charged with aggravated robbery. Also, two suspects wanted in a home invasion that occurred on October 28th in the South Zanesville area turned themselves in to authorities Wednesday. Richard Hollins and James Norris, both 19-years of age, are in custody. They’re being charged with aggravated robbery, burglary with a gun specification.
