The votes are in and the polls are closed, but the 2001 Election is not exactly over< counties still have to produce official numbers. In Muskingum County, there were about four races that are too close to call. The 2nd slot of trustee in Rich Hill Township is tied, and only one vote separates candidates in Adamsville Village, Norwich Village and Clay Township. The Board of Elections said a winner will be declared and all votes counted at the official recount on November 19th. The voter turnout in Muskingum County was typical of an off election year, around 41% of the registered voters cast their ballot.
