It’s not just the schools, or the community that makes donations to local organizations. Today the Adult Probation Office presented the Salvation Army and Christ’s Table with over 600 food items. The department has been doing this project for three or four years now and they have provided many canned goods to the community’s needy. The project was approved by the Muskingum County Judges, and it was designed to have adult felony probationers give back to the community. Those with community service will receive credit for their donations. The canned goods were split evenly between the two organizations and the Salvation Army will use their share for holiday baskets.
