After almost 12 years of service to the city, a familiar face in the Clerks Office will be retiring. Joan Ziemer has been a fountain of information, and a helping hand to those in need of public information concerning Zanesville City records for a little over a decade. Joan does have mixed feelings about leaving her job. She will miss her co-workers as well as her duties as clerk, however she is excited to spend more time with family and looks forward to that. She will complete her duties as Clerk of Council at the end of the month and in January someone will be appointed in that position.
