There’s a growing interest in technological jobs, and with the Tech Prep Programs available at many area high schools and Career Center students are becoming better prepared. At Muskingum Tech, area students got the chance to take part in a technology workshop. The program is called Transition to College and it allows the students from area tech prep programs to see the opportunities at the post secondary level. More than 60 juniors attended several hands-on, interactive demonstrations. Students who are currently enrolled in Career Centers feel that tech prep programs are a great learning opportunity. Muskingum Tech Faculty assisted students in areas such as computerized drafting, web design and computer engineering. If you are interested in the tech program or a technical career, then call 588-1224 for more information.
